Implementation Consultant - Finance

This position is for a Finance Implementation Consultant to take on a Senior Consultant role in the software implementation team of a renowned consultancy who specialise in SAP Business ByDesign, the mid-range ERP solution from software giant SAP.

They are looking for a highly professional candidate, experienced at configuring, testing, implementing and maintaining accounting software solutions, or the finance modules of ERP solutions and has a previous accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or FCCA, salary to £50k plus car allowance.

You will handle the complete life cycle from the Pre-Sales stage, so some experience of presentations would be very useful as you will have to demo the software. Good functional skills and business process analysis is essential, as you will gather the clients requirements and map these into the SAP Business ByDesign solution, and then configure the software to fit, test, train the users, implement the solution and had hold through the go-live phase.

You will have to spend the first month in their offices near Maidenhead whilst getting to grips with the software. Thereafter you will probably spend 1-2 days a week in the office, 2 on client sites and a 1-2 days working from home. So ideally you will live within an hour or so from Maidenhead.

They are looking for someone who is professional, analytical and enjoys a challenge, and has client facing experience, good problem solving skills, can present to clients, and is highly motivated. You will use your finance experience to talk to stake holders at all levels, map the solution, handle support queries and train customers.

You will have implemented accounting software or the finance modules of ERP software such as Glovia, Dynamics NAV, Epicor, NetSuite, Agresso, SAP Business One, Infor, Exact, Syscom, Oracle eBusiness, Sage 200, Dynamics AX, Sage 1000, COINS, Yardi, JDE, Kerridge, Exchequer, Pegasus Opera, PS Financials, JDE or similar.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Implementation Consultant with strong finance experience, who has CIMA or ACCA qualifications, to learn the SAP Business ByDesign product and be part of a dynamic team of Consultants and Project Managers and the go to person for finance information.
