Description

4 x Software Implementation Consultants or Professional Services Consultants are required for a progressive, entrepreneurial, and ambitious software consultancy based near Waterloo in London. They are part of one of the world's largest and most successful software companies, US owned, with over 6,000 staff and 15,000 global clients. This arm of the business sells SaaS software for property, and is still fairly small in the UK, with around 30 staff including a Project Manager, 6 Implementation Consultants, Sales Executives, and an Account Manager and admin and management staff. They need 4 additional Professional Services / Implementation Consultants to align with their planned growth in 2019. Starting salary to £45k plus benefits.

This software solutions company sell a very successful web based solution that allows property owners to manage, maintain and plan their properties and work spaces. So, the software is used for residential property portfolios, room bookings, hotel style reservations management, managed student rentals, corporate apartment blocks, private asset management, occupancy, kiosk solutions, work orders, tenant portals, resource management, finance and invoicing, and property maintenance. It is very flexible and configurable, pretty, interactive and highly stylised.

The roles will suit Implementation Consultants who are hardworking, ambitious, client facing, meticulous and reliable. You need to be able to deal with the requirements and business processes, and be quite forceful with clients when appropriate, as some of the clients buy the software as a vanilla solution with no customisation, but that means they then need to change internal processes.

Many implementation projects are with clients based in the London area, but there is some national travel and occasionally to Europe. You will need to go into head office frequently, so you need to live within easy commuting distance of their offices which are convenient for London, Kent, Surrey, Essex, Hertfordshire, and Buckinghamshire or anywhere in good commuting distance of Waterloo.

So as an Implementation Consultant you are very much focused on the requirements, identifying, scoping and writing change requests, and the software set up, workflows and dealing with the clients. They are looking for bright, motivated Software Implementation Consultants who have full life cycle implementation skills in a client facing role. You will be happy talking to clients implementing the solutions and training the users. You will have good commercial awareness, good documentation & communication skills and a passion for web based and digital software. Other skills such as SQL and / or Report Writing and / or training or web based work, are all useful.

You will be an Implementation Consultant or Professional Services Consultant who has rolled out application software Solutions such as facilities management, workplace management, field service, pensions, asset management software, rental software, procurement software, bookings software, retail software, payments software, document management, leisure software, estate agency software, CRM, ERP software, legal software, accounting software, CAFM, construction solutions, service management software, property management software, hire software, or anything similar.

Why work here?

  • The software is classy, clients love it and that is why it is doing so well
  • They are very specialist in their niche with little competition
  • They implement state of the art web based, digital solutions
  • The projects are well sold, so the implementation role is very do-able
  • The management team are great
  • This is an entrepreneurial, ambitious high-growth company
  • People work hard but the atmosphere is exciting and they have a lot of fun

Typical projects are 50 days and 50 users, but you will probably start off on upgrades or small 5 user solutions until you have learnt all the nuances of the software. At the top end, they have 200 user systems.

This is a great environment, entrepreneurial, progressive, fun and current, with plenty of opportunities as they are growing rapidly. To find out more, contact Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing.
