Software Implementation Consultant or Professional Services Consultant for an interesting role on the South London / Surrey borders. Salary from £30-40k depending on how much experience you have and the depth of your skills. They are also happy to look at more Junior Level Software Implementation Consultants, with drive and ambition.

This software solutions company sell a very successful practice management solution that allows architects and creative companies to manage, maintain and plan their projects. So, the software is used for dealing with project planning, project costing, time sheets & expenses for the workers, asset management, work orders, forecasting, CRM, hazards, and contractor management.

Their flexible and modular solution includes mobile functionality. A lot of their clients are prestigious architectural firms working on large corporate construction builds, engineering & design consultancies and interior designers, so the projects are interesting and creative.

Their software integrates with their clients' standard accounting software, but has a finance element within it for costings, invoicing and expenses, and you will be looking at the workflows that the client has.

Many of their software implementation projects are with clients based in the London area; there is some travel but staying away is a rarity. So you will need to go into head office for a fair amount of time, and need to live within easy commuting distance of their offices which are convenient for Wimbledon, Surbiton, Kingston-upon-Thames, Twickenham and Croydon.

Large modifications are handled by a separate development and business analysis team. You will work alongside the Senior Consultants to learn the products and get to grips with it.

So as a Consultant here, you are very much focused on the requirements, the software set up, workflows and dealing with the clients. They are looking for a bright, motivated Professional Services Consultant or Implementation Consultant who has good software implementation experience in a client facing role. You will be happy talking to clients, getting their requirements, implementing the solutions and training the users. You will have solid commercial awareness, good documentation & communication skills and a passion for software and IT.

You will be an Implementation Consultant or Professional Services Consultant working on Application Software. This could be anything from a solution like their product, such as ERP Software, Facilities Management Software, Property Software, Service Management Software, Workplace Management Software or Construction Software - to Pensions Software, Bookings Software, Asset Management Software, Retail Software, Maintenance Software, Rental Software, or Estate Agency software.
