Property Software Implementation Consultant

Key position with a software consulting company who are authors of their own property management software solution, which is highly regarded in the market sector and has some unique features, with a strong element of property accounting.

As a consulting company, their level of expertise in the software and the property management sector is phenomenal, so you will learn a huge amount quickly from working with such a good team. you will never be thrown in at the deep end, this is very much a mentoring, and coaching environment. They will pay up to £60k for a strong client facing Functional Implementation Consultant with property software experience. But this might also suit someone early in their career with some software training and software Implementation in the property field at the £35-£40k mark.

They are looking to add an extra Professional Services Consultant / Implementation Consultant to their team. They need an experienced client facing functional consultant with strong property solutions experience, and you need to be able to understand the customer's requirements, do the workshops and gain the confidence of the client by showing that you understand how their property business operates.

So this is dealing with the customer to establish what processes they have and then implementing the software to fit; they have a separate finance & accounting team of consultants, so it is purely based around the property management functionalities including rent, leases, maintenance, issues with tenants, rent reviews, lettings modules etc.

You will also train the clients on how to use the software. You will have worked with property software; you may have come from an end user background where you were using property management solutions, or from a software consulting background implementing property software, or you have an IT / business analysis background working for a property management or property development company.

You will work with their property investment clients through the entire software implementation process doing:

• Functional requirements
• Workshops
• Specification
• Set up
• Client training
• Go-live and some post go-live support

You are comfortable talking about facilities management, maintenance, and other property issues. The solution is focused on property management, lease management, rent collection and block management.

Experience of software products like Yardi, Qube, Manhattan, Grosvenor's Propman, Atrium, Trace's Tramps solution, Archibus, Real Page, Pex, or any other property solution would be fantastic and will allow you to get involved in interesting projects very early on.

The job is home based anywhere in the UK, and you should be happy to go to client sites when needed and visit the office occasionally. It is a small and friendly software business; the 2 Directors still work as hands-on Consultants themselves, and they have a strong support, technical, and software development team. People like working here and they have very low staff turnover. The clients tend to stay with them forever, and they continue to win new business, so they are a very successful and profitable company, with assured ongoing business from loyal customers.
